Stop and Smell the Roses: A Little More Time With a Good Friend

It's Wednesday! That means it's Stop and Smell the Roses day around these-here parts!

Stop and Smell the Roses

You know those times when you're looking forward to something, but you're not sure of the exact time it's going to happen, and then you find out it's about to happen?

Well, that's what happened to me this week. I knew a good friend and her daughter were suppose to be coming into town soon, but I wasn't exactly sure when. Then, I found out on Monday they were planning on being here Tuesday, and as luck would have it, just in time for dinner! :)

And that's what I'm chatting about in my little ol' vlog this morning...

I'll be linking this vlog up over at House of Rose with the rest of the Stop and Smell the Roses vloggers. Go check them out and feel free to join our little crew! It's a party every Wednesday! ;)

Hope you're having a great week!!

  5. This really is a little crew isn't it? I am actually feeling super guilty now that I couldn't make the vlog happen this week. Oh well...next week will be fun. And as for your video, you are such a doll. I am happy you got to see your friends and spend time with them. My best friends lives like 2.5 hours away and we rarely get to see each other but when we do...it's always a blast.

  6. It is so great to get together with friends. I have not seen my best friends in such a long time. One lives in Chicago and the other lives in Baton Rouge. We have not been able to get into Illinois to visit at the same time. I will be praying that everything goes well with your friends.

  7. Brit! I started to tear up as you were talking about your friend! I have a friendship similar to the one you were talking about. Some people are just meant to hold a special place in our hearts! I will be praying that the transition goes smoothly for them when the time comes and I'll also be praying that you guys are able to stay in touch! Also loved Jayden's pronunciation of Colorado... I babysit two little girls that always said "Countyfornia" when referring to California where their brother lived. Kids are so stinkin' cute. :) Have a wonderful week and thank you for the sweet comment on my vlog! XO!

  9. Hi! Leah from Casa Confident. There is nothing like seeing an old friend and spending time with someone you love dearly. I have friends that come in from out of town, and it is just the best thing to spend sweet time with them. That sounds like super fun! Glad you got that time! =)
